Strengthening in the peasant movement in Haiti

Formed in 1973, the Peasant Movement of Papaye (MPP) is the oldest and among the most important local peasant movements in Haiti. Their current project promotes citizen responsibility for environmental protection with the view to actively participate in the fight against climate crisis, by protecting natural resources and the environment, the application of good cultural practices, and adaptation to climatic hazards.
